The 16th Annual BET Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The star-studded show that saw Beyonce dominate the night bagging four awards in all the categories she had been nominated in.
Her surprise appearance at the start of the show stunned the crowd as she teamed up with Kendrick Lamar to give a fantastic performance of her song Freedom.
Prince who died last month was honored with tributes by singer Janele Monae.
The show was watched by close to 7.2 million viewers across the globe and saw starling performances from the likes of Fat Joe, Remy Ma and French Montana performing “All the Way Up” Designers hit “Panda,” Alicia Keys singing her new single “In Common”.
