Gospel singer Kevin Bahati proposes to Diana on New Year’s eve
Gospel singer Kevin Bahati yesterday surprised his wife Diana Marua with a marriage proposal during the EMB Jesus party in Thika.
The singer who has never been shy to publicly display affection to Diana called out her on stage and made her comfortable on a king type chair brought on stage.
With Diana seated and with five men at the carrying a “Will You Marry Me?” placards in the backdrop, the singer went down on one knee and posed the question to which she said “Yes”. He then slid the ring into her finger amid wild cheers from the crowd.
“Nampenda sana. Na leo ameitikia kunioa (I love her so much and today she has said yes to my marriage proposal)” Bahati told revelers as an overwhelmed Diana broke into tears.
Later on, a seemingly excited Diana shared a photo of her hand with one of her fingers with the ring on Instagram praising the moment.
The EMB boss who was headlining the New Year’s Eve with other gospel artists thrilled the crowd with electrifying performances.
The proposal comes just comes a year after the two held a traditional wedding in October 2017.
