An internationally renowned preacher and motivational speaker have met his death in Kenya.
Dr. Gungadoo Stenio from the Australia South Pacific Division of the SDA Church died while preparing a sermon at Migosi SDA Church, Kisumu.
The pastor was scheduled to speak at a week-long annual camp.
According to reports, Dr. Gungadoo collapsed inside his hotel room and was then rushed to Avenue Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
“It is true he has died. This is horrible and we are very sad,” said Pastor Japheth Ochorokodi, SDA West Kenya Union Secretary.
The preacher is believed to have died of a heart attack. His body is lying at the hospital as the Australian embassy makes arrangements on how it will be flown back home.
