ADMI’s Film & Television Production course prepares you to write original stories and capture global audiences using cinematic tools.
We will teach you the magical art of storytelling, equipping you with the skills to inspire and move audiences through diverse cinematic tools. From the outset, you will be immersed in all aspects of the creative journey, from ideation and creative writing through to scriptwriting, production, directing, cinematography, sound and post-production editing.
While providing a sound basis, in theory, ADMI balances practical experience with a comprehensive acquisition of core skills. As a Film & Television Production graduate, you will be technically and aesthetically proficient in all areas of film and television production and, through project-based collaborations, you will develop a diverse portfolio, ranging from comedies to music videos, documentaries and commercials.
COURSE DURATION: The course will course will run for 2 academic years (4 semesters)
CREDITS: 24 contact hours per unit and an average of 7 units per semester
CLASS HOURS: 8.30am – 10.30am; 11.00am – 1.00pm; 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Qualification
KCSE C- or above, with a C- or above in Kiswahili, English, Mathematics and at least one science subject OR A-levels with 2 principle passes.
Computer Knowledge
Basic computer proficiency is required. Attach certificates to your application.
