DP William Ruto’s Son Eyeing Political Seat in Uasin Gishu

nickDeputy President William Ruto’s son, Nicholas Kipkurgat, has dropped a hint that he may be joining politics.

Speaking at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Kaptarakwa, Nick- a Nairobi lawyer, said he will make a decision soon.

“Let those asking me to join politics hold their horses for a while. Politics is complicated but I will make a decision soon,” Ruto said.

He is said to be eyeing the Turbo parliamentary seat in Uasin Gishu, once held by his father.

Nick was joined by Nacada board member Charles Njagua, popularly known as Jaguar at the church function where they spoke about youth issues.

“As youth, we need to work hard and take advantage of opportunities we have to empower ourselves economically,” Ruto said.
