Infinix S2 Pro, the successor of Infinix Hot S, will come with a dual main camera and is set to be launched on April 10th, 2017.

It seems like a dual main camera is becoming a popular must-have feature.
Infinix must have drawn inspiration from LG V20, a high-end handset from LG that came with a powerful dual camera system.
The price tag for LG V20 was a bit high; hence, it is definitely good that a dual camera setup is featured in mid-range handsets.
This type of camera system translates into a better selfie experience.
The question on how dual system cameras work has been asked severally and it is only fair to clarify.
Having the 13MP + 8MP selfie camera combination in S2 means that you have two camera sensors.
This camera system will not only ensure that as you take gorgeous photos but that you get wide angles lens.
This means more people in your photos without having to use a selfie stick.

Last year, Infinix Mobile introduced us to Infinix Hot S: the first-born in the S-series.
As is tradition, its success would determine if the company invests in the series or not.
It appears that Hot S did well in the market and that is why Infinix Mobile went ahead and manufactured Infinix S2 Pro.
An important thing to note, however, is the Infinix dropped the name “Hot” in S2.
This is probably because people were assuming that this series and the HOT series are one and the same thing.
That is just a wild guess but I would think that it is possibly true.
The specifications are okay.
This is definitely not A-Okay since there is a notable compromise with the battery capacity.
It would have been kind of Infinix to include a 3500mAh or a higher battery capacity especially since we expect an improvement from the one in Hot S.
Another compromise has to be with the resolution, HOT S came with 1080×1920 pixels but this has been allegedly downgraded in S2.
