Nowadays there are so many vernacular TV stations that I’ve lost count. Kikuyu is particularly well represented with more than 5 stations broadcasting in the language. Royal Media’s Inooro TV is however the dominant one.
With such a ready and targeted audience, advertisers are bound to make a move. We’ve come across a Kikuyu ad for Leo Condoms, and it is the funniest thing you’ll see today.
