The nuptials between Nokia and Android are finally official with the release of Nokia 8.

This will be Nokia’s first Android flagship and since Android is bae to many, it makes sense that there is a lot buzz around the launch.

HMD Global seems to have paid special attention in the making of the high-end smartphone. There is a lot to like about Nokia 8. The ZEISS powered dual cameras with ‘bothies’, 4GB RAM, and OZO Audio are among selling features on the handset.

The launch comes less than two months after the launch of Nokia 3, 5 and new 3310. These handsets were opening acts for Nokia’s comeback but they did not exactly leave fans jubilated.

It now seems that the HMD Global means business. Nokia 8 is a high-end smartphone since its features allow the handset to share the stage with bigwigs such as OnePlus 5 and Samsung Galaxy S8.

The specifications are not exactly new since we have come across most them in several other Chinese company flagships.

However, do not be too quick to roll eyes your as Nokia 8 comes with top of the line specs and includes some awesome features that will appeal to customers and Nokia fans.

    These include:

    • Carl Zeiss Cameras

The Carl Zeiss-branded front-facing and rear cameras do look good on paper. The dual 13MP camera at the rear comes with one color lens and one mono.

That’s not all: there is a 13MP selfie camera.

All three cameras come with f/2.0 aperture.

Nokia says that the Carl Zeiss optics will give users a pleasant photography experience.

    • Dual-Slight

Nokia 8 supports ‘Boothie’ photos. These are created by combining snaps from both the rear and front cameras.

In addition, Dual-Sight also allows you live stream photos and videos to Facebook or YouTube.

    • Ozo Audio

The Ozo Audio is another interesting feature. It captures 360-degree audio. This is thanks to the three mics and the company’s acoustic algorithms.

    Other Nokia 8 Specs:
