Canadian YouTube Star ‘Superwoman’ in Kenya for Safari (Pics)

lilly10Once again, Kenya has scored as the destination of choice for high-profile celebrities, with Canadian YouTube personality Lilly Singh, being the latest to jet into the country.

Lilly Singh, better known by her YouTube username IISuperwomanII was in the country for the last one week for charity and of course, Kenya’s magical safari.

She was in the country courtesy of Me To We an organization that funds a school in Narok and a community-based organization that empowers Maasai women.

Lilly Singh is one of the fastest growing celebrities on YouTube. Her channel launched as a simple hobby in October 2010 has accumulated over 9 million subscribers, and her videos have received over 1.4 billion views.

This year she was ranked 8th on the Forbes list of the world’s highest paid YouTube stars, earning a reported $3 million( approx. Sh 304,000,000) in 2015.

Her videos are primarily comedic skits about various topics like how girls get ready and how young adults converse with their parents. She is also a talented rapper, going on tour last year to perform comedy and music across the globe.
