A photo of Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amb. Amina Mohammed and her Tourism counterpart Najib Balala holding hands has got Kenyans talking.
The photo was taken on Sunday in State House during Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s visit. The two are seen walking hand in hand just behind Uhuru and the Japanese PM.
Organizing TICAD was mostly in their dockets and they certainly had to work close together. But that did not stop Kenyans from tweeting.
Anyway, credit must be given where it’s due. TICAD was the largest congregation of foreign leaders in Kenya in almost 30 years, and it was a success… at least in the organization and logistics. The fruits will remain to be seen.
