Gospel Singer Bahati Declares Himself “Shortest Serving President”
Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) tear at unperturbed Gospel singer Bahati for calling self “shortest serving president”.
On Saturday, September 10 President Uhuru Kenyatta literally stood from his seat at the Jubilee Party official launch in Kasarani and let Gospel singer Bahati sit on it as he sang the song Mama to Kenya’s First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
This rare gesture has had many talking, with quotas wondering if the same act could have taken place with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s predecessors Mwai Kibaki and Daniel Moi.
Bahati, in a mild moment of excitement, threw his legs up in the air while seated on the President’s chair. He proceeded to step on the president’s table in a show that left the president exited.
However, sections of Kenyans have found his act disrespectful to the presidency, especially after Gospel singer Bahati joked on social media that he is “the shortest serving president.”
Thousands of Kenyans have taken to social media to express mixed reactions to gospel singer Bahati Saturday stunt, with some saying the boy disrespected the president.here are some comments
