How to reject WhatsApp group invites
Everyone living in the current century is definitely familiar with WhatsApp groups since we likely have one for friends, family, work related and maybe one for hundreds of our friends.
Despite all this sometimes you just don’t want to be in a certain group but even after leaving the group you will just find yourself in another one that you don’t like too.
Now, how do you get rid of this tiresome culture? Worry no more, Facebook-owned popular messaging app WhatsApp has decided to solve this problem for you. The app has developed an option within its settings that will allow you to manage what groups to join and which ones to ignore.
Now, it seems like the Facebook-owned messaging app has decided to solve this problem for us. The feature is available under the privacy settings option. This feature is found in WhatsApp Settings>Account>Privacy>Groups.
The group invite will come as a chat where you’ll choose to ‘accept’ or ‘decline’ to join the group.
My Contacts: here you will receive an invitation to join a group from everyone on your contacts list.
Everyone: here you will receive an invitation to join a group from someone who is not on your contact list.
Nobody: you will need to approve or reject every time you’re added to a group chat.
