International schools to start teaching kiswahili and kenya’s History

Education CS Fred Matiang’i has continued with his impressive work after giving a directive to International Schools in the country to begin teaching History of Kenya and Kiswahili language.

He also added that all teachers including those in International schools must be vetted by the government.

CS Fred Matiang’i  also added that no Teacher will be allowed to teach from January if not registered by the TSC.

He was speaking at the launch of a report on bridge schools.

He was quoted saying:

“We will make a decision on Bridge academies in the best interest of our children regarding Bridge school.”

CS Fred Matiang’i has been praised for heading the Education docket and his ability to eliminate cartels in exam cheating.

He has set a record as the first minister to have a no case of exam cancellation due to cheating.
