How to check your KCPE results online

Candidates can check their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education results online.

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha on Monday is set to released the highly anticipated 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results.

Candidates, their parents, and guardians can access the results through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website, SMS platforms, county education offices and their respective schools.

For the SMS option, the candidates should send their index number, followed by the initials KCPE (in capital letters) to 20076 in order to access the results.

The SMS platform is available for all mobile networks and will be charged Sh25 each.

Students are also advised not to have spacing between the index number and the initials KCPE.

The service was made available immediately after Magoha’s address.

He said the candidates should collect their results from their respective examination centres.

Candidates in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exam can check their results online.

The candidates to access the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) portal and head to the KCPE tab and select the year they sat the national exams and enter their Index number.

Due to the urgency and high demand for the results, the Ministry of Education advises that the platform may experience delays and asked the students to be patient.

This year the council registered 1,225,507 candidates in 28,316 KCPE examination centres as compared to 1,191,752 candidates in 28,467 centres in 2020.This reflects an increase of 33,755 representing 2.75 per cent.
