When you get tired of waiting in traffic every morning, building a plane is not the first thing that would come to your mind.
For 45 year old Czech national Frantisek Hadrava however, that’s exactly what he did.
Mr. Hadrava lives in the Czech village of Zdikov and works the 6am shift at a local factory. His commute now takes only 5 minutes.
The open cockpit plane, which hits a maximum speed of 146 km an hour, sports a 3-cylinder engine, Reuters reported.
The plane, made mostly of wood, cost just $4,200 to build.
