POLL: Martha Karua Vs Anne Waiguru, Who Do You Support for Kirinyaga Governor
Narc Kenya Leader Martha Karua is reportedly expected to announce her bid for the Kirinya governor seat in two weeks.
According to the Star, Karua has held a total of six “secret meetings” with an aim of making a political comeback.
Reportedly, Karua met with Kirinyaga Senator Daniel Karaba and businessman Kibuga Githigi at her Kimunye home in April. The two convinced her to enter the gubernatorial race.
The former Justice Minister has also reportedly held three meetings in the last two weeks with more businesspeople from the county.
On Twitter, Karua has further hinted at going for another seat other than the presidency. When one Twitter user asked her what position she will vie for next year, she simply stated, ”Coming shortly.”
That was uncharacteristic of Karua, who was very confident of the position she would be vying for in the months leading to the 2013 elections.
When another Twitter user tried to belittle a ‘regional office’, Martha Karua interjected and told him county offices are in no way inferior.
@wallacemuchiri @Asaphjay @david_karatu let me say this counts offices are not inferior and handled well can transform the nation

Well, let’s wait and see if she’s trying to communicate something.
In the meantime, given the choice of Karua and Waiguru – who is also running for the Kirinya governor seat, who would you go for?
