Citizen Tv news anchor Victoria Rubadiri has been single for a very long time. During an interview with journalist Yvonne Aoll last month the mother of one opened up on why she is yet to find her ideal man.
In the interview she said that as much as she is open to dating a relationship is not her major goal at the moment.
She said;
āI am (open to dating)Ā Iām open to it. Even though Iām appreciative of my career and everything it has to offer, Iām not saying that dating is completely out. I would eventually love to settle down and have someone to walk this life journey with, but thatās not the major goal for me right now. Iām in a space where Iām exploring my profession with everything it has to offer, as well as exploring myself. Iām learning more about myself, Iām doing things that I want to do, Iām appreciating myself, flaws and all, Iām just in a very beautiful spaceā.
The news anchor also revealed that men rarely hit on her since most men think she is very intimidating.
āLike where Iām just doing my own thing and someone comes, says hi, and asks me out on a date? Yeah, that definitely doesnāt happen.Ā I think the intimidation factor, usually has a lot to do with what people generally think, of those who work in the media, and peopleās past interactions with other media personalities. I have had people interact with me and five minutes in, theyāre so confused,āĀ She said
When asked about her ideal man, Victoria went on stating;
āIād want someone who has a relationship withĀ God,because my walk with God is very critical to me. Iād want a fully-formed man, in that, he knows what he wants out of life, he may not be there yet, but he knows where he is, and where heās going. I prefer men who are self-driven, supportive, and, having a sense of humour helps too.ā
What else?
āI can be very sarcastic, so I would like to be with someone who has a quick sense of humour. But those are just some qualities, in the end, Iād really prefer someone who just has a good heart. Iāve always been concerned about the people around me, so Iād like someone like that. Also, donāt start keeping up appearances, showing up with I donāt know what type of car, (shakes head), no, just have a good heart. That matters to me a lot.ā
Asked about what she hates Vicky went on saying;
āI donāt like liars. I hate pathological liars. Ah, I canāt stand people who lie. Especially if itās something so small, itās like, why are you lying? Why would you lie about that? Seriously, why? I canāt stand people who lie for no particular reason. Iād rather you just tell me the truth, even if it stings, Iāll find ways to deal with it, then we can move on. But finding out that someone lied to me when they didnāt really have to ticks me off. It really does. Thatās such a huge character flaw for me.ā
