SAFARICOM TO LAUNCH BLAZE BYOB TV SHOW AT IHUB
The BLAZE Be Your Own Boss TV show is launching today at iHub. For the peeps that are still in the dark, the BLAZE BYOB TV show is a youth entrepreneurship reality show. It features 12 BLAZERS; two from each county that the BLAZE BYOB Summits were held in the previous year. A recap of where the BYOB Summits were held and the numbers of BLAZERS that turned up.

The 12 aspiring entrepreneurs went through auditions and from the thousands of BLAZE disciples, the 0012 apostles were chosen. They stand a chance to win a whopping Ksh.5 million in total; Ksh.3 million in cash and Ksh.2 million in business support.
This highly anticipated launch will also feature a panel that will discuss some of the issues affecting BLAZERS, especially on training and entrepreneurship. The topic of discussion will be Employment vs. Entrepreneurship: Which career path empowers youth more?
The panel will comprise of:
- Marion Wanyoike – Senior Manager, Youth Segment at Safaricom
- Tushar Khetia – CEO and Founder, Tria Group and Society Stores
- Michelle Ntalami – CEO and Founder, Marini Naturals
- Dr. Wandia Njoya – Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Language and Performing Arts at Daystar University
