After weeks of uncertainty in the Jubilee side of Nairobi politics, it looks like there’s finally some form of direction.
President Uhuru Kenyatta last week appeared to have endorsed Sonko when he failed to acknowledge the candidatures of everyone else.
It was during the commissioning of Ngong Road dual carriage construction.
Now, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru and nominated MP Johnson Sakaja have expressed interest in working together.
Speaking on Tuesday after a funeral service in Dagoretti, the three dismissed the candidature of Water CS Eugene Wamalwa telling him to concentrate on his ministerial job.
It is believed that the three politicians have agreed on an alliance which will see Sonko vie for Nairobi Governor with Waweru as his deputy. Sakaja will go for the senator position.
Do you think this is a team that can send Kidero home?
